HEBRON, October 31, 2015 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians Saturday were shot with live ammunition, whereas dozens others were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets as Israeli forces attacked the funeral procession of five Palestinians who were killed by the former for carrying out alleged stabbing attacks against Israelis.

WAFA correspondent reported that violent clashes took place between army soldiers and the tens of thousands of mourners who attend the joint funeral of the five Palestinians, whose bodies were withheld by the Israeli authorities.

Forces reportedly used live and rubber coated bullets as well as tear gas canisters against mourners, shooting and injuring at least 11 Palestinians with live ammunition, while dozens others sustained injuries after getting hit with rubber-coated steel bullets. Many suffocation cases were also reported.

Following the joint funeral procession, army soldiers intensified their military presence in the city of Hebron, taking over the rooftops of several homes and commercial shops.
