Bullet-Related Injuries, Suffocation Cases in Clashes near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 17, 2015 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was shot with live ammunition, and three others were injured by rubber-coated bullets, while several others suffocated by tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces, as the former suppressed a students’ rally in al-Balou’ neighborhood, near Ramallah.

Witnesses reported that Israeli forces attacked the students – who rallied to protest Israel’s recent escalated aggression against the Palestinian people – with live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters, spurring clashes with local.

The youth reportedly responded by throwing stones at soldiers stationed at al-Balou’ junction, near the settlement of Beit El in Ramallah.
