HEBRON, September, 1 (WAFA) – Clashes Sunday erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces following an army raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to a local activist.
The coordinator of the popular committee against settlements and the segregation wall, Mohammad Awad, told WAFA that forces raided the town at dawn and arrested two Palestinians, including a released prisoner, age 23 and 21 after raiding and searching their homes, causing financial damage to one of the houses’ contents.
Clashes broke out following their arrest; forces fired tear gas canisters toward the provoked Palestinians, causing several suffocation cases among them.
