NABLUS, February 17, 2015 (WAFA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed early Tuesday the Joseph Tomb to the east of Nablus, said security sources.
Protected by Israeli forces, about seven buses packed with settlers arrived at Joseph Tomb, where they performed religious rituals, triggering clashes with the residents.
Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian locals who attempted to prevent settlers from storming the religious site. No arrests or injuries were reported.
Settlers repeatedly break into Joseph Tomb, located in a densely Palestinian populated area in Nablus, provoking chaos and confrontation with local residents.
