RAMALLAH, March 9, 2015 (WAFA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monday said, in a statement, that the Israeli Foreign Minister “Avigdor Lieberman of ISIS” should be arrested and brought to justice, after he incited for the beheading of Arab citizens who are not loyal to Israel.
Lieberman, who chairs Israel’s far-right Yisrael Beiteinu party, threatened yesterday to “chop off with an axe” the heads of Arab-Israeli citizens who are not loyal to the state. “Those who are with us deserve everything, but those who are against us deserve to have their heads chopped off with an axe,” Lieberman said during an election rally in the city of Herzliya.
Liberman once again advocated his plan to spin off Arab areas of Israel and integrate them into a Palestinian state, in exchange for areas of Judea and Samaria that would be annexed to Israel.
“There is no reason for Umm el-Fahm to be a part of Israel,” Liberman said, referring to the third largest Arab city in Israel that is close to the northern West Bank border.
“Those who raise the black flag on ‘Nakba Day’ in mourning over the establishment of Israel do not belong here, as far as I am concerned, and I am quite willing to donate them to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas. It would be my pleasure,” he added.
Lieberman, a Soviet Union-born Israeli far-right politician, is pre-occupied with anti-Palestinian and Arab sentiments, and believes that Palestinians who hold the Israeli nationality should be transferred to the West Bank.
In late May 2004, Lieberman proposed a plan in which the populations and territories of Israeli Jews and Arabs, including some Israeli Arabs, would be “separated.”
According to the plan, also known as the ‘Populated-Area Exchange Plan’, Israeli Arab towns adjacent to Palestinian Authority areas would be transferred to Palestinian Authority, and only those Arab Israelis who migrated from the area to within Israel’s new borders and pledged loyalty to Israel would be allowed to remain Israeli citizens.
