Hamdallah Praises France’s €11 million Aid for Gaza and State’s Treasury


RAMALLAH, August 7, 2014 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah Thursday praised the French government’s 3 million Euros of aid to Gaza, in addition to 8 million Euros allocated to support the state treasury.

During a meeting with French Consul General Herve Margo in Ramallah, Hamdallah briefed Margo on the repercussions of the Israeli criminal aggression on Palestinians in Gaza, praising the position of France in supporting the Palestinian issue in various international forums and its fixed stance regarding the two-state solution.

Hamdallah called on the international community to uphold its legal, ethical, and humanitarian responsibilities and help re-build the Gaza Strip as well as provide relief for citizens of Gaza, particularly children [who were affected by the aggression] and are in need of health and psychological care.
