Hamdallah says UK, EU, Must Intervene to Stop Gaza Massacres

Rami-Hamdallah

RAMALLAH, July 21, 2014 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah stressed on Monday the importance of an intervention by the United Kingdom and the European Union countries to compel Israel to stop its massacres perpetrated against the Palestinians in Gaza.

During a meeting with UK’s Consul General in Jerusalem, Vincent Fean, Hamdallah said the international community is obliged to take immediate and actual steps to curb the ‘barbaric aggression’ targeting innocent civilians, including children, women, and elderly, which so far resulted in the killing of hundreds of Palestinians and the injury of thousands others.

Hamdallah underscored President Mahmoud Abbas’ efforts to stop the aggression and lift the Israeli siege imposed on Gaza.
