HEBRON, November 27, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces early Thursday arrested 15 Palestinians, including a leader in the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), as well as summoned three others for interrogation from West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.
In Hebron district, forces raided and searched several houses in Beit Ummar town and Hebron city, where they arrested eight Palestinians; ‘Abdul-‘Alim Da‘na, a PFLP leader, 65, Sa‘di al-Natsha, Ramadan Qafisha, Ashraf Abi Sneinah, Khaid al-Rajabi, Ahmad, 19, and Mahmoud Ikhlail, 18, and Yousef Za‘aqiq, 21.
They also served Jihad Ikhlail, 20, a notice to appear before the intelligence and broke into and ransacked a bakery in Beit Ummar area, where they detained workers for several hours and fired tear gas canisters toward locals.
Meanwhile in Tulkarem, forces raided Shweika neighborhood to the north of the city, where they arrested Muhammad Nayfa, 19, Yousef Sarhan, 19 and Naser Zaghal, 24, after breaking into their houses.
They also served Ra’ed Hajar a notice to appear before the intelligence for interrogation after breaking into his house.
Meanwhile in Bethlehem, forces stationed on Za‘tara checkpoint to the south of Nablus detained ‘Adel Hijazi, 42, a resident of Bethlehem, and served him a notice to appear before the intelligence.
In Jerusalem district, police arrested Walid Mahmoud, Muhammad ‘Ubaid and ‘Abdul-Qader Dari from al-‘Isawiya town and Sha‘ban Hammad from Shu‘fat refugee camp to the north of the city after breaking into their houses.
They also broke into many Palestinians’ houses across the city.
