Israel Cuts Off Villages Northwest of Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, November 28, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday blocked the main road leading to villages located to the northwest of Jerusalem, completely cutting them off from their surroundings.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces deployed its troops near al-Jdeereh bridge in Bir Nabala village to the northwest of Jerusalem, and prevented Palestinian locals’ access to the villages of al Jdeereh, Bir Nabala, Beit Iksa, Biddu, and Qatanna, in addition to other villages located to the northwest of Jerusalem.

Sources said that Palestinian locals were prevented from entering or leaving the area, either on foot or by cars, after forces blocked the road from both directions in the early morning hours, causing a severe traffic jam at both sides of the blocked road. Until the moment, hundreds of Palestinian registered vehicles are trapped on both sides awaiting to cross.
