QALQILYA, November 10, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight detained 32 Palestinians, including two minors, and summoned eight others from West Bank districts for interrogation, said security sources.
Israeli troops detained 25 Palestinians from Qalqilya, six others from Hebron and another from Bethlehem. They summoned a total of eight Palestinians from Hebron and Bethlehem districts.
Israeli troops raided the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, where they proceeded to detain 25 Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their houses.
The detainees were identified as Yasser Hammad, 54, Ashraf Jebrin, 33, Qassam Masqawi, ‘Abdullah Melhim, 45, Amir Ji‘aidi, 24, ‘Abdul-Fattah Swelem, 40, ‘Abdullah Walwil, Nidal Da‘aas, Husni An-Nis, 34, Sameh ‘Afanah, Nour Addin Da’ood, 28, Nour Abu Ya‘coup, 24, Jamal Da’ood, 50, Loai Fraij, 45, ‘Abdul-Naser Al-Rabi, 45, Bahjat al-Hindi, Fadi Shraim, 38, Muhammad Abu Khader, Zaki Dawood, Muhammad Mardawi, Eyad Shweiki, ‘Ali Khader, Amjad Hantash, Mujahed Nofal and Ayman Helal.
Troops also broke into and tampered with the contents of several other houses belonging to Talal al-Baz and the Khadrawi family.
This came several hours after two Palestinians were shot and injured by rubber-coated steel bullets and dozens others suffocated in clashes with Israeli forces in the western Qalqilya neighborhood of An-Naqqar.
Meanwhile in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, forces detained six Palestinians, including a minor, and summoned three others during predawn raids into the district.
Forces detained a Palestinian minor and summoned his father after breaking into their houses in a predawn raid into al-Fawwar Refugee Camp, north of the city.
Mahmoud Jawabra, 14, was detained and his father, ‘Abdul-Fattah was handed an order summoning him to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Forces also detained four other Palestinians after breaking and wrecking havoc into their houses in a predawn raid into Dura town, south of Hebron.
The detainees were identified as ‘Amr, Karam and Ahmad ‘Amr as well as ‘Ala’ Rayyan.
Furthermore, forces raided the Hebron city neighborhood of Jabal Johar, where they proceeded to detain a Palestinian after storming his house.
The detainee was identified as Mousa Ahmad, 20.
Forces also summoned two Palestinians in a predawn raid into Nuba and Beit Ula towns, northwest of Hebron.
Mu‘taz al-Hroub and ‘Abdul-Fattah al-‘Amla were handed notices ordering them to turn themselves over to Israeli intelligence.
The army further set up military checkpoints in several Hebron neighborhoods, including al-Harayek and Wadi al-Qif, the northern entrance of Hebron city as well as the entrances of al-Fawwar, Sa‘ir and Halhul towns, stopping and examining Palestinian registered vehicles and inspecting passengers identification cards.
In the meantime in Bethlehem district, forces detained a Palestinian and summoned five others in a predawn raid into al-‘Ubeidiya town, east of the city, ‘Ayda and al-‘Azza refugee camps, north of the city.
The detainee was identified as Mujahid Abu Sarhan, 17, who was shot and injured by Israeli forces about two weeks ago during clashes in the vicinity of Dar Salah village.
Suhayb Hassasna, 15, ‘Ali Shanayta, 17, and his cousin, Da’ood, 17, were handed notices ordering them to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Two other Palestinians were summoned in two separate raids into ‘Aida and al-‘Azza refugee camp.
Saddam Dar Hajj, 25, and Jihad Abu Sha‘ira were handed notices ordering them to appear before Israeli intelligence.
