HEBRON, September 16, 2015 (WAFA) – At least four Palestinians were detained by the Israeli army and police during predawn raids in the West Bank district of Hebron as well as in Jerusalem on Wednesday, according to local and security sources.
In Hebron district, Israeli army stormed the town of Dura and detained a local Palestinian, identified as Hazem Awad, 20. Army also stormed nearby al-Arroub refugee camp, where they detained Mohammad Jawabra, 19.
A third Palestinian, idenitifed as Mos’ab Halaika, 24, was detained by the army from the nearby Shuyukh al-Arrub locality.
Forces also searched a number of homes in the area and sabotaged their furniture. However, no further arrests were reported.
Earlier in Jerusalem, Israeli police detained 13-year-old Moath Sayyad, in the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tour. This came amid clashes between Israeli police and local youth across the city in the aftermath of the escalation of violence by Israeli police and Jewish fanatics in al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
