HEBRON, April 18, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early Saturday two Palestinians and summoned three others from Hebron district in southern West Bank for interrogation, said security sources.
Israeli forces stormed Sa‘ir, a town to the northeast of the city, where they detained a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his house. The detainee was identified as ‘Odai Jabbarin.
Troops stationed in the Old City of Hebron reportedly detained another Palestinian identified as Muhammad Abu Sneinah, 19.
They also handed Omar al-Muhtaseb and ‘Obada ‘Amr notices ordering them to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation, after breaking into and ransacking their houses in the Hebron area.
Forces also summoned Samih Abu Fara from Surif, a town to the northwest of the city to appear before Israeli intelligence.
Forces also set up military checkpoints at Hebron’s northern entrance as well as the entrances of Sa‘ir and Yatta, where they stopped and inspected vehicles with Palestinian registration plates and examined passengers’ ID cards, causing a traffic jam.
