Israel Razes Land in Bethlehem Village to Establish Industrial Zone for Settlements

BETHLEHEM, March 10, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday continued with its razing land in the village of Kisan to the east of Bethlehem for the benefit of establishing an industrial zone that would serve nearby illegal Israeli settlements, according to Kisan’s village council.

Head of the village council Hussain Ghazal, told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers began razing tens of dunums of land from the total area designated for demolishing which amounts to 600 dunums.

He said that this action would completely isolate the village from its surroundings; by engulfing it with illegal Israeli settlements from all sides.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli forces leveled land in the village of Issawiya for the benefit of establishing a national park that would also serve settlers.
