Netanyahu: We will Continue Building Settlements Everywhere

JERUSALEM, December 2, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the weekly Israeli cabinet meeting on Sunday, affirmed that his government will continue settlement construction in every place, in West Bank and East Jerusalem it considers “strategic”, following Palestine winning UN status recognition vote at the United Nations.

He said that settlement construction will continue in East Jerusalem and other areas that Israel considers as essential for its security, stressing that his government refuses the decision of the United Nations to recognize Palestine as non-member state.

“The state of Palestine will not be established without reaching security arrangements, without recognizing the Jewish identity of Israel and without ending the conflict by the Palestinian side,” said Netanyahu.
