Israeli Army Arrests 8 in West Bank

WEST BANK, January 29, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday arrested eight Palestinians during predawn raid campaigns in the West Bank districts of Hebron, Jenin, and Qalqilia, according to local and security sources.

Israeli army forces stormed Hebron City in the late night hours and raided a family house, sabotaged the furniture and arrested 17-year-old Udai Jaber.  The soldiers also arrested Fahmi Jaber, 23.

Meanwhile, Israeli army arrested two youngsters from the nearby town Dora while on their way to Israel, seeking work. They were identified as Adnan Awawdeh, 27, and Izz Eddine Darabee, 21.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the army stormed the village of Sanur and arrested Gassan Abu Ali, 22, a local resident. Army also stormed Jenin City and arrested Othman Turkman, 47, and Ashraf Tahayneh, 21, after blowing up the gates and raiding their homes in an aggressive manner, reported witnesses.

The Israeli soldiers also stormed the nearby village of Silat al-Harithiya, where they summoned local residents to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation at the nearby Salim military compound.

Meanwhile in Qalqilia district, the Israeli army broke into the village of Kafr Qaddum and arrested a local resident, who was identified as Ahmad Ishtewi, 24.
