Israeli Force Uproots Hundreds of Trees

HEBRON, April 9, 2013 (WAFA) – An Israeli military force Tuesday uprooted hundreds of trees from an area south of Dahriya, in the Hebron district, according to a local official.

He said that the force uprooted more than 100 olive trees and 250 almond trees from a 45 dunum plot owned by two brothers in Dahriya.

He said the area is close to the 1948 armistice line and therefore Israel regularly destroys anything Palestinian put on that land in order to seize it.
