NABLUS, February 4, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday broke into an elementary school between al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya and as-Sawiya to the south of Nablus and forced out the teaching staff and students, said a local activist.
According to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli settlement construction in the northern West Bank, forces broke into the school building and forced the teaching staff together with students out of it at gun point.
Israeli soldiers did not provide any explanation for their incursion and evacuation of the school premises.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers raided several Jenin neighborhoods, namely Al-Jaberiyyat, Marah Sa‘d, the industrial zone, Haddad tourist village, Al-Almaiyya and Al-Basatin, provoking Palestinian locals.
Army forces set up roadblocks, stopped Palestinian vehicles and examined passengers’ identity cards. No arrests were reported in the raid.
