WEST BANK, January 14, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces early Wednesday and late Tuesday detained 25 Palestinians in various areas of the West Bank, and Jerusalem according to local and security reports.
Israeli forces detained Murad and Rami Bkierat in the town of Sour Bahir, South of East Jerusalem after beating them in their homes according to witnesses.
Meanwhile Fadi Abu Zeyad was detained after being assaulted by soldiers, in the town of al-Eizariya, Southeast of Jerusalem.
Israeli forces admitted to the arrest of two Palestinians, one in the town of al-Eizariya and the other in the town of Sawahira ash-Sharqiya, South of Jerusalem, under the pretext of rifles and ammunition possession.
Israeli forces also arrested Ahmad Abul Humus, in al-Isawiya north of Jerusalem, and Mohammad Abu Juma’a in At-Tur neighborhood.
According to Mohammad Awad, the spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Hebron, Israeli forces arrested 18 Palestinians in the town of Beit Ummar, North of Hebron.
The 18 Palestinians were identified as: Imad Abu Hashim, 24, Omar Awad, 28, Mohammad Abu Mareya 19, Aiesh Ikhlel 19, and his 18-year-old brother Mohammad, Hamza Ikhlil, 18 and Jihad Muqbel, 18.
Israeli soldiers also arrested Salah A’lami, 25, Mo’ayad Tomar, 22, Yehya Ikhlik, 25, and his 22-year-old brother Mohammad, Yousef Abu Mareya, 38, Shadi Bahar, 24, Mahmoud Ikhlil, 21, and Mahmoud Ikhlil, 28.
Among the 18 arrested, Israeli forces detained a number of minors including, Mohammad Alqam, 17, Amir Ikhlil, 16, and Malik al-Tait, 16.
