NABLUS, August 11, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army Monday targeted a Palestinian house in Qabalan, a town to the south of Nablus, with bombs after raiding it to look for a wanted person, killing a youth as well as injuring eight others, including children and women, according to local sources.
Head of Qabalan Municipality, Hisham Aza’ar, said army forces surrounded the house of Sohaib al-Aqra’a in the village, raided it and ordered the house residents to hand over Zakariya Al-Aqra’, 24, and when the family refused to hand him over forces began firing bombs at the house, killing Hisham and injuring eight others.
At least eight civilians inside the house were reported injured, including women and children. They were transferred to a nearby hospital, where their conditions were described between moderate and serious. In the mean time, two people were arrested in the incident, including Al-Aqra’s brother.
Army also demolished part of the house during the military offensive.
