Israeli Police Attack Palestinians Protesting Annexation of Abu Dis Land

sraeli forces attacked a peaceful protest against Israel’s annexation of Abu Dis’ land, east of Jerusalem, according to a local source.

Hani Halabiya, spokesman of the People’s Resistance in Abu Dis, said Lama Nazih, dozens of suffocations cases were reported after Israeli police suppressed a peaceful protest against Israeli army’s ongoing razing of Palestinian owned lands in the town.

The protest came as Israeli police evacuated a youth camp for the ninth time in less than a month, which was set up by activists in defiance of Israeli plans to annex the area to the nearby settlement of Ma’ale Adomim.

Earlier on Monday, an Israeli military force, accompanied by 30 military vehicles, surrounded the tent camp before allowing settlers to demolish it.
