Israeli Police Kills Young Palestinian in Jerusalem for Alleged Stabbing

JERUSALEM, October 14, 2015 (WAFA) – A young Palestinians was killed on Wednesday after Israeli soldiers shot him claiming he attempted to stab an Israeli settler in the central station west of the city.

Israeli police claimed in a press release that an Israeli police officer shot 23-year-old Ahmad Abu Shaban, because he tried to stab an Israeli settler. Shaban was instantly killed.

Shaban is a former political prisoner from Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan to the south of Al-Aqsa Mosque. He was released towards the end of 2014 after spending 36 months in jail.
