HEBRON, December 28, 2014 (WAFA) – An 8-year-old Palestinian child sustained multiple injuries when an Israeli settler ran over him near the village of Zeif, east of Yatta to the south of Hebron, according to local sources.
The settler ran over Hamada Qarish and fled the scene, leaving Qarish on the ground with various injuries, which necessitated his transfer to a hospital in Israel to receive treatment. Up until now there are conflicting reports regarding his medical status.
On October 19, an Israeli settler deliberately ran over Inas Khalil and Toleen Asfoor, both aged five, while walking home from kindergarten near the entrance of the village of Sinjil. Inas succumbed to her wounds hours later while Toleen survived.
Settlers are continually involved in hit and run incidents against Palestinians; Israeli forces rarely take action and often label such incidents as accidents.
