Israeli Settlers Assault Palestinian near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, October 13, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers violently assaulted a Palestinian young man near Gush Etzion settlement bloc, south of Bethlehem, said security sources.

Settlers stopped a Palestinian man, identified as Bassam al-Hur, 30, and violently assaulted him, causing him various wounds across his body.

Al-Hur, who comes from the Hebron town of Surif, was rushed into the Arab Society Hospital in Beit Jala, where medics described his condition as moderate.

For the Past couple of weeks, Israeli settlers – following two separate killing incidents of Israelis by Palestinian suspects – went on a revenge rampage, under the protection of Israeli army forces , against Palestinian civilians and their properties, leading to violent clashes across the West Bank districts, which left dozens of injuries and suffocation cases among Palestinian locals.
