Israeli Soldier Attempts to Kidnap Youth South of Nablus

NABLUS, March 26, 2015 (WAFA) – An Israeli soldier Thursday attempted to kidnap a Palestinian youth from the town of Madama south of Nablus while present at a poultry farm near the bypass road, local sources said.

Witnesses told WAFA that an Israeli soldier attempted to kidnap 19-year-old Bader Odeh at gunpoint while he was present at a poultry farm in the town. Odeh escaped the site, but had his vehicle damaged due after crashing it in the area.

Sources reported that the soldier in question took a bus, after he attempted to drag the young man into the nearby illegal settlement of Yitzhar.

In a related issue, security sources said that a number of Israeli settlers held three youth in the town of Aqraba south of Nablus, but released them shortly after.
