Israeli Soldiers Raid Gas Station Southwest of Jenin, Seize Computer

JENIN, October 11, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli army soldiers Sunday raided a gas station in the village of Barta’a As-Sharqiya to the southwest of Jenin district, according to the owner.

The owner, Sabri Qabha, informed WAFA that forces – for the second time during the period of one month – raided and searched the gas station. Forces also seized the owner’s computer.

Israeli forces late Saturday and until Sunday dawn declared the village a closed military zone and prevented locals from leaving the village.

According to OCHA report covering the period between 15 and 28 of September, “Israeli forces intensified access restrictions in the West Bank, including closing the northern entrance to Ar Ram town with road blocks since 20 September, and closing for several days the southern and western agricultural roads in Kafr Qaddum village (Qalqiliya); and closing the entrances to the neighborhoods of Al Isawiya and Sur Bahir (East Jerusalem) and Deir Nidham (Ramallah).”
