Israeli Soldiers Suppress Rally in Support of Gaza, Many Palestinians Suffocate

CLASHES BETWEEN ISRAELI SECURITY FORCES AND PALESTINIAN PROTESTERS NEAR THE WEST BANK VILLAGE OF BITDUKU

JENIN, August 10, 2014 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated on Sunday as Israeli army shot tear gas canisters towards Palestinians, who rallied in protest of Israel’s ongoing aggression on Gaza, at al-Jalameh checkpoint, to the north of Jenin, according to local and security sources.

Sources told WAFA Palestinians rallied in protest against Israel’s aggression on Gaza; Israeli soldiers fired tear gas to disperse the protesters, causing several cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.
