Israeli Warplanes Target Locations in Gaza

GAZA, June 29, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes launched Sunday predawn a series of air strikes targeting several locations in the Gaza Strip, causing damage to local facilities and homes, according to media sources.

WAFA correspondent said an Israeli F16 jet fighter hit a location in the central Gaza Strip, setting it on fire and completely destroying it, which caused a state of horror among the local residents, especially children. The same location was bombarded a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes hit a location near the city of Rafah in the south, a site in al-Bureij refugee camp, as well as targeted Abu-Jarad location and a barrack in Az-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza city, causing destruction to the sites and spreading terror among the residents. No injuries were reported.

Warplanes also targeted a location in the city of Khan Yunes in the southern Gaza Strip, in addition to a location in the city of Beit Hanoun, causing destruction and terrorizing the local residents, yet no injuries were reported.

The time of the strikes coincided with the time of Suhoor meal, consumed in the predawn hours by Muslims before fasting during the Islamic month of Ramadan which starts today.

During the past few days, the Strip has been under Israeli sporadic aerial aggression in which tens of sites were bombarded.
