Israeli Warplanes Target Many Locations in Gaza, Seriously Injure Four

GAZA, July 1, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes, Tuesday at dawn, targeted all main cities of the Gaza strip with dozens of airstrikes, causing four critical injuries and excessive property damage.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli F-16 fighter jets bombarded farmlands, open fields, locations and civilians’ properties.

The city of Gaza, Rafah, Khan Younes, Central District and Northern Gaza were targeted with over 30 air raids carried out by Israeli F-16 fighter jets and navy ships.

Dozens of successive explosions were heard across Gaza, spreading panic among Palestinian residents.

Israeli warplanes and surveillance drones continue to hover at low altitudes in Gaza skies.

Meanwhile, Israeli missiles struck greenhouses in Khan Younes, south of Gaza, where four Palestinians, who work as guards, were seriously injured with missile shrapnel. They were transferred to Naser Hospital in Khan Younes, where medics described their condition as serious.

Most of Gaza Strip cities plunged into darkness after Israeli airstrikes hit electricity generators and grids.
