RAMALLAH, January 24, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday arrested four Palestinian minors from the West Bank city of Hebron, according to security sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces arrested four Palestinian minors aged 16 and 17 from the old city of Hebron. They were identified as Amjad Irfaiyeh, Hashim Doufish, Hijazi D’ais, and Mohannad Idris. They were taken to an unknown destination.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops set up military checkpoints at the northern entrance of the city as well as at the entrance of several towns in the Hebron district, including Sair, Halhoul, and al-Fawwar refugee camp, obstructing residents’ movements; checking their identity cards and searching their vehicles.
Late Friday, an Israeli settler attempted to run over a Palestinian minor herding his family’s sheep in the village of As-Samou, south of Hebron. The child escaped the attack attempt, while four sheep were killed.
