RAMALLAH, February 9, 2015 (WAFA) – Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) celebrated the opening ceremony of Korean funded Kufr Nima’ Industrial School (KNSIS) near Ramallah.
A press release issued by Japan’s representative office said that the school is one of KOICA’s projects in Education sector with total amount of $3.7 million used for construction and provision of equipment in addition to training of the administrative and the academic staff.
The school has been operating since September 2014, and 90 students so far are enrolled in it. KNSIS is almost a simulation to another KOICA project in Industrial field, which is Jenin Industrial Secondary School (JSIS).
The aim of this project is to enhance the capacity of the Palestinian people as the investment in Human Resources is a way to achieve the state building, said the release.
