RAMALLAH, January 25, 2015 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies highlighted in their Sunday issue a United Nations’ report saying that in the past three days alone, Israel demolished the homes of at least 77 Palestinians, most of whom are children.
Al-Quds said at least 42 residential facilities in Jerusalem and the West Bank were demolished by Israel since 1st of January 2015, displacing 77 Palestinians.
Al-Ayyam reported PLO’s central committee member Nabil Shaath as saying that the parliament of Italy is due to vote in favor of recognizing an independent state of Palestine by mid-February.
Al-Quds said four youngsters were injured on Saturday during clashes with Israeli police in Jerusalem.
Al-Ayyam read that eight Lebanese troops were killed in clashes with radical groups along the borders with Syria.
