Newspaper Review: French Parliament’s Voting to Recognize State of Palestine Focus of Dailies

RAMALLAH, December 3, 2014 (WAFA) – The French parliament’s voting in favor of recognizing the State of Palestine made headlines of the three Palestinian Arabic dailies in their Wednesday issue.

Following are the main headlines:

 

Al-Quds:

– An overwhelming majority of the French members of parliament vote in favor of recognizing the State of Palestine.

– Confrontations erupt in [the Jerusalem neighborhood of] Jabal al-Mukabbir [between teenagers and Israeli police].

– Council of Ministers appreciates the growing international solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just issue.

– Jordan hands over to the UNSC members a draft resolution calling for the end of the Israeli occupation.

– Haaretz reports on a secret airline linking Israel with GCC countries.

Al-Ayyam:
