RAMALLAH, May 7, 2015 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies focused in their Thursday issue on the illegal Jewish settlers’ takeover of three Palestinian private-owned apartments in Jerusalem.
They said Israeli settlers on Wednesday took over three apartments in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, under the pretext they are absentees’ property.
On a different topic, al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the formation of the new government, upon a deal with the nationalist Jewish Home party.
Al-Quds and al-Hayat al-Jadida said three armed Palestinians were killed during clashes with Egyptian army in northern Sinai.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam said the Supreme Court of Israel issued a final decision to demolish the Arab village of Atir, in the Naqab province in the 1948 territory, and to relocate its residents to a nearby area.
Al-Quds said the Israeli army razed a Palestinian private-owned land in Idna, west of Hebron late Wednesday.
It said Israeli settlers on Wednesday attempted to kidnap a Palestinian lorry driver near Nablus in the northern West Bank.
It further reported that Israeli naval boats targeted Palestinian fishermen with gunfire while sailing offshore the city of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
On a different subject, it quoted Israeli media sources as saying that “foreign” fighter jets recently bombed a Scud missile factory in the Sudan’s capital of Khartoum.
