Palestinians Clash with Israeli Soldiers in Nablus

NABLUS, September 24, 2013 (WAFA) – Palestinians clashed early Tuesday with Israeli soldiers who closed off several areas east of Nablus to provide safe haven to hundreds of settlers who came to Joseph’s Tomb located near Balata refugee camp, according to witnesses.

Soldiers closed all roads leading to the tomb while the settlers performed Jewish ceremonies inside the shrine.

Residents threw rocks at the soldiers, who fired back stun grenades and live bullets. There were no reports of injuries.
