Palestinians Shot, Injured, Suffocate in Renewed Hebron Clashes

HEBRON, October 21, 2015 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians Wednesday were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets, whereas dozens others suffocated by tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces during renewing clashes that erupted across Hebron district.

WAFA correspondent said that clashes broke out at Bab al-Zawyeh area in central Hebron, at a military checkpoint stationed at the southern entrance of the old town, as well as at the southern part of Hebron city, and at Halhoul bridge to the north.

A number of Palestinians sustained various injuries after being struck with rubber-coated steel bullets, whereas dozens others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian youth, whose identity was unidentified, was shot and injured with a rubber-coated bullet during renewing clashes with Israeli forces at the northern entrance of al-Bireh, near Beit El Israeli military checkpoint. Forces reportedly used rubber bullets against Palestinians, who responded by hurling stones at the soldiers.

Earlier Wednesday, a female Palestinian teenager was seriously injured on Wednesday after Israeli soldiers opened fire on her near the illegal settlement of Yitzhar, south of Nablus.
