LA PAZ, April 3, 2013 (WAFA) – The Palestine Monetary Authority Governor, Jihad al-Wazir, Wednesday discussed with the Bolivian president, Evo Morales, the potentials of cooperation between Palestine and Bolivia; as part of the ‘South-to-South’ cooperation program, which targets fields of tourism, agriculture and financial and banking services.
According to a PMA press release, Al-Wazir, during a meeting held in the republican palace, in La Paz, Mexico, handed an official letter and conveyed greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas to President Morales, who always ‘expresses support to the Palestinian people’s resistance.’
Al-Wazir also presented a mother-of-pearl handicraft from President Abbas, as a gesture of appreciation to the brave stance of the Bolivian President, last of which was the recognition to the State of Palestine, said the release.
The Bolivian President extended greetings to the Palestinian President and appreciation to the people of Palestine, “President Abbas has always been a struggler! Palestine to me and my country is an existing full member state, and the current situation does not devalue it at all.”
