Premier, Spanish Consul, Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Support Disadvantaged Families

RAMALLAH, June 15, 2015 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Spanish Consul General in Jerusalem, Juan José Escobar, Monday signed a memorandum of understanding worth one million Euro to assist deprived Palestinian families.

The premier met with the Spanish consul prior to the signing of the memorandum, where he stressed the Palestinian government’s commitment to improve the living standards of marginalized families, as well as to promote coordination and cooperation with local and international institutions.

Hamdallah further briefed the consul on the latest developments regarding the Palestinian issue; including the government’s efforts exerted toward the reconstruction of the war-battered Gaza Strip and promoting the internal reconciliation.

He also briefed Escobar on efforts exerted toward the reunification of Palestinian institutions.
