Presidency: “We don’t Interfere with Israel’s Internal Affairs”

RAMALLAH, February 20, 2013 (WAFA) – The presidency announced in a statement Wednesday that it doesn’t not interfere with Israel’s internal affairs, especially with its government formation.

The statement said the Israeli government formation is an Israeli internal affair and that the presidency deals with a government that believes in peace, two-state solution, and halt of settlement activities.

Netanyahu, in a press conference Thuesday, said that he is working on a new ministerial formation, to which he assigned Tzipi Livni to be a negotiation partner in the Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations.

Livni, Israel’s former prime minister and negotiation partner, said she is looking forward to go back to the negotiation’s table to achieve peace between Israel and Palestine based on the two-state solution.
