Settler, Army Kill Two Palestinians in West Bank, Death Toll Hits 93

RAMALLAH, November 22, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces and settlers Sunday shot dead two Palestinians, including a female teen, in two separate incidents in Nablus and near Jerusalem, according to the Ministry of Health.

In Nablus, 16-year-old Ashraqat Qatannani was shot dead by Israeli soldiers stationed at Huwwara junction checkpoint, south of the city, after she was run over by an Israeli settler.

Meanwhile, a taxi driver was shot dead by an Israeli settler at Ramallah-Jericho road, allegedly after he rammed his car into another car carrying settlers. According to the Israeli narrative, the man allegedly got out of his car and attempted to stab one of the settlers, before another settler shot him dead.

Witnesses, however, refuted the Israeli narrative, saying the settler opened fire on the Palestinian man after the latter’s car inadvertently collided with the settlers’ car. The man’s identity has not been identified yet.

This brings up the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire since the beginning if unrest in early October 2015 to 93, including 19 children and four women.
