Settler Stabs Palestinian Teen in Hebron

HEBRON, December 9, 2014 (WAFA) – An Israeli settler Monday night assaulted and stabbed an 18-year-old Palestinian near Bani Ne‘im town to the east of Hebron, said local sources.


Mu‘ath al-Rajabi was stabbed and injured in the shoulder and transferred to a Hebron public hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.


Hours later, a group of Israeli settlers attacked and injured another Palestinian in the Hebron neighborhood of Bi’r Haram al-Rama.


Safwat Abu al-Feilat, 18, was bashed by two settlers, who came out from his private car parking and attacked him using clubs and electric sticks, causing injuries and bruises across his body.


Meanwhile, Israeli forces attacked Ahmad Masharqa in Dura town to the south of the city, causing bruises and light injuries.


Hundreds of soldiers conducted military drills in Khallet al-Katla area to the south of Beit Ummar, northwest of Hebron, said Spokesperson for Popular Committee against Settlement, Muhammad ‘Awad.


A group of armed guards of ‘Karmie Tzur’, an illegal settlement, took part in these drills. Sounds of explosions were heard in the area.
