Settlers Break into Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israeli Police Arrest One, Injure Woman

JERUSALEM, May 7, 2013 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Tuesday broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque protected by the Israeli police who attacked Palestinians and denied them access to the mosque, arresting one and injuring a woman, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that around 50 settlers accompanied by some of the members of the Israeli right-wing Likud party broke into al-Aqsa Mosque, provoking worshipers, as the police stationed inside the mosque attacked Palestinians and students of the Knowledge sessions and prevented them from entering the mosque.

She added that police arrested one of the Palestinians, Jameel al-Abbasi, and injured a woman who was transferred to one of the hospitals in Jerusalem for treatment.
