Settlers Destroy Palestinian-Owned Crops West of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, June 29, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli settlers, late Saturday night, attacked large areas of land and destroyed crops belonging to Palestinians in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, according to a security source.

The source told WAFA that ‘a group of settlers from ‘Beitar Illit’ settlement, built illegally on land belonging to Palestinians, destroyed large areas of land planted with crops in the village, as well as destroyed the irrigation pipes in the area.

To be noted, residents of Husan have been subjected to frequent attacks by the settlers of ‘Beitar Illit’; the latest attack took place almost ten days ago; settlers set fire to vast areas of land, chopped down trees, razed land, and attacked the farmers.
