Settlers Set Fire to Dozens of Olive Trees near Nablus

NABLUS, September 23, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Monday set fire to dozens of olive trees belonging to Palestinians in the town of Sarra, southeast of the city of Nablus, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, said that settlers set fire to around 180 olive trees in the town while Israeli forces prevented the civil defense fire trucks from reaching the site to extinguish the fire.
