Several Suffocation Cases during Clashes in Jenin Village

JENIN, February 24, 2015 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians suffocated Tuesday early morning during clashes that erupted with Israeli forces in Zbuba village to the west of Jenin, said security sources.

Israeli forces stormed the village, triggering clashes with the villagers.

Soldiers fired concussion bombs and tear gas canisters at Palestinian locals, causing several to suffer from excessive tear gas inhalation. None was detained during the raid.

Israeli soldier conduct regular raid campaigns in Palestinian villages, refugee camps and towns. The provocative raids which usually take place during late night hours or early morning trigger clashes between residents and Israeli soldiers.
