Several Suffocation Cases during Clashes in Bethlehem Town

BETHLEHEM, February 26, 2015 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated Thursday during clashes with Israeli forces in al-Khader town to the south of Bethlehem, said a local activist.

Large Israeli troops raided Umm Rukba, an area in the town, where they broke into a house that belongs to Mahmoud al-Wahsh, taking over its rooftop, turning it into a military post and triggering clashes with locals.

Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at locals, causing several to suffer from inhaling excessive tear gas.
