JENIN, January 14, 2014 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians Tuesday suffered from tear gas suffocation fired at them by Israeli soldiers during clashes that erupted in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, according to local and security sources.
They told WAFA that forces raided several shops and homes in the town; Israeli snipers positioned themselves on the rooftops of several Palestinian-owned homes, leading to clashes with the residents.
Forces fired tear gas and acoustic canisters toward the residents, causing several suffocation cases among them.
Meanwhile, forces also raided the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, patrolled its vehicles in it’s streets in a provocative way, leading to clashes with the residents. No injuries were reported.
