Three Palestinians Injured in Clashes near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 27, 2015 (WAFA) – At least three Palestinians, including a journalist, were injured by rubber-coated steel bullets shot at them by Israeli forces, during clashes with teenagers near Ramallah, said local sources.

Witnesses said Israeli forces attacked a group of Palestinians demonstrating at Beit El checkpoint, named after the illegal Israeli settlement just northeast of Ramallah, and targeted protesters with rubber-coated steel bullets, injuring three of them, including journalist Samer Nazzal who works for the local Raya Radio.

Several other Palestinians also suffocated due to inhaling teargas used against them by the Israeli forces.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces reached 61, including a pregnant mother and her two-year-old child, with over 2120 injuries from live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and physical assault.
