Two Palestinians Shot, Injured during Clashes with Israeli Army near Nablus

The sources said confrontations erupted last Monday night when an Israeli army force stormed the city in order to carry out an arrest.

The wounded were identified as Mohammad Basalat, 19, who was Injured with a rubber bullet in the head, and Mohammad Hussein, 19, who was injured with a rubber bullet in his hand. A third, who identified as Nour ed-Din Shredeh, 19, suffocated by inhaling teargas shot by the army.

Mufeed Ghazal, a Palestinian from al-Makhfiya neighborhood in Nablus, was reportedly detained from his home by the army during the Israeli raid.

This came only one day after similar clashes took place across the West Bank, upon calls prompted by Israel’s recent escalations at al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem.

Dozens of Palestinians, mainly school students, were injured as Israeli forces suppressed the peaceful protests which set out in multiple areas across the West Bank on Monday.
