JERUSALEM, December 17, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli police and army forces Wednesday arrested 11 Palestinians from across the West Bank, mostly from Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) and a local activist.
PPC reported that Israeli police arrested eight Palestinians from several neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, including al-Isswyieyh, Ras al-Amoud, and Jabal al-Mokkabir.
The arrested Jerusalemites were identified as Ibrahim al-Batta, 21, Morad Kstiro, Ismail al-Masri, Odai Radydeh, Fadi and Rami Darwish, Amjad al-Tawil, and Zakrya Abu Nab.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested Brothers Firas, 22, and Hussain Herzallah, 19, after raiding and searching their family home in the town of Yabod.
Israeli forces arrested 19-year-old Tariq Hamid after raiding the family’s home at dawn.
To be noted, Israeli forces conduct house raids and arrest campaigns on daily basis, arresting Palestinians, including minors, without having presenting an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, forces raided homes in Zeif area to the East of Yatta town, south of Hebron that belong to al-Shatat and al-Jabarin families, forcing them out of their homes under the pretext of conducting military exercises in the area, reported Popular Committee Coordinator in Yatta, Rateb al-Jabour,
Israeli soldiers carry out military training exercises in populated areas on regular basis in the West Bank.
In the mean time, Israeli settlers, protected by soldiers, organized a rally at Zeif triangle near Yatta, shouting racist slogans and burning Palestinian flags.
