Bodies of Seven Palestinians Recovered from Under Rubble in Gaza

GAZA, July 28, 2014 – (WAFA) – The bodies of at least seven Palestinians were recovered from under the rubble of homes  in Khuza‘a to the east of Khan Younes on Monday afternoon by Palestinian rescue teams, said a medical source.

Accompanied by International Red Cross vehicles, Palestinian rescue and civil defense teams gained the Israeli army’s permission and entered the town and started to recover the bodies of Palestinians from under the rubble of homes completely leveled by Israeli heavy bombardment last week.

The bodies were moved to the Gaza European hospital to be identified and handed to their relatives.

The rescue and medical teams continue to search for the dead and survivors in the rubble, and accordingly, the number of such bodies is expected to rise.
